Oliver Queen May Seem Familiar In Arrow Season 5 Flashbacks

The producers of Arrow have said that the five years of flashbacks will end with Season 5, as we know what happened next all the way in the very first episode of the series.

At the Salt Lake Comic Con panel featuring Stephen Amell and David Ramsey, Amell talked about how the Oliver in the flashbacks is a bit like the guy we first met in October 2012.

“One of the things that I’ve really enjoyed about Season 5 is that in the flashbacks, I’m playing a version of Oliver that is remarkably close to the version that we meet in Season 1,” Stephen said. Present day Oliver should be interesting, too, as for once, Oliver is the optimist.
