“Hello, Old Friend” – What Is Stephen Amell Doing In His Old Arrow Costume?

Last week when we were apparently not paying close enough attention to Twitter, Stephen Amell Tweeted out a photo of himself wearing his original “Hood” costume from Arrow Season 1 — complete with eye makeup. Is Oliver going back to the old outfit?

Probably not. But… we do hear some flashbacks are coming up that take place DURING Arrow Season 1, perhaps tying in with the origin story of Prometheus (you know, Tommy. Kidding.) This photo is likely from the production of the ninth episode of Season 5, though an appearance by this costume in Episode 100 wouldn’t be completely surprising.

(Could Arrow Season 1 flashbacks also explain how Katie Cassidy will be back on the show for a while? Hmm…)
