Details On Arrow’s Season 5 Big Bad Revealed?

TV Line has another scoop via casting notices: It seems the Arrow Season 5 villain is now being cast.

The site compares the role to The Wire’s drug kingpin Stringer Bell as played by Idris Elba, and Jason Momoa is listed as a physical prototype.

The character that they are referring to as “Anton Church” is described as a “ruthless crime lord” who is set to fill the void left by Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E. on the Star City crime scene. TV Line also says the casting notice describes the character as “an apex predator who cuts his way through the shadows by taking down the biggest threat first.”

Stephen Amell has gone on record as saying that as far as he knows, the Season 5 “big bad” does not have superpowers.
