Arrow Season 5 Spoiler: New Big Bad Being Cast

Arrow is now casting their “big bad” for Season 5, according to a report over at TVLine.

This new “big bad” is being cast under the code name of “James,” and is described as an “irrepressibly charming contemporary of Oliver’s” who is “a man on a mission.” He’s out to avenge a tragic, violent loss from his own past… and no, “James” isn’t code for “The Punisher,” he’s a Marvel character.

The role being cast is an actor of any ethnicity; late 20’s to 30’s who can come across as a physical threat. TVLine also says he can “just as easily shake your hand as your best friend or break your neck as your worst enemy — and you never know which one is coming. Either way, he’s more than capable of having a good time as he does it.” The new role will be a series regular for Season 5.
