Arrow Season 5 Casting News: Tyler Ritter As Detective Malone

THR is reporting that Tyler Ritter (son of John and star of The McCarthys) has been cast in Arrow Season 5 as a Star City detective named Malone. The role will be a recurring one.

The THR article notes that Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance) will continue to be a series regular on Arrow, so we can’t count him out just yet, even with a new detective coming in.

Arrow Season 5 premieres October 5 on The CW.
