Arrow Casts Spartacus Alum As Amanda Waller

Last week, GreenArrowTV posted confirmation that DC Comics character Amanda Waller would be coming to Arrow with the season’s sixth episode, which appears to be called “Keep Your Enemies Closer.” Today, TVGuide.com has posted exclusive news — Waller has been found, and, like the casting choice for Slade Wilson, this actor comes from Spartacus.

Cynthia Addai-Robinson, whose credits also include The Vampire Diaries, will be playing the iconic DC role that was previously played by Angela Bassett and Pam Grier.

TVGuide.com also confirms that Waller will be introduced as part of A.R.G.U.S. and she will also be in charge of the Suicide Squad, a team that includes Deadshot and the Bronze Tiger. They also note that the role will be a recurring one.
