No “Olicity Baby” For Arrow Season 7 No “Olicity Baby” For Arrow Season 7
Stephen Amell has said there will not be an "Olicity baby" in Arrow Season 7. No “Olicity Baby” For Arrow Season 7

One of the big rumors in the lead-up to Arrow’s Season 6 finale “Life Sentence” was that there might have been a reveal that an “Olicity baby” is coming; i.e., that Oliver and Felicity would be expecting a child together. Never mind that Oliver and Felicity do have a child they are parenting together already, and never mind that it’s been rare for any TV show to get better or more relatable with the addition of a baby… there were some fans who really wanted this to happen.

Obviously, it didn’t, and thanks to an interview with Stephen Amell at the CW Upfronts red carpet, we know it’s not happening in Season 7 either.

“In Season 7? No. Oliver has his hands full,” Stephen said in an E! News video that you can see below.

With that said… Amell had strong praise for his Arrow costar Emily Bett Rickards, particularly in a scene that they shared in Thursday’s season finale.

“The scene that I shot with Emily in the finale was my favorite scene in the entire season, by a wide margin. It was so cool, and she was so good. She’s a little bit perturbed with Oliver and the actions he takes in the finale, which we’ll have to sift through in the early part of Season 7,” he said.

Arrow returns for Season 7 this Fall in its new time slot of Mondays at 9PM on The CW. You can see video of the E! News interview below.

You do know he was lying right? He won’t confirm it on the red carpet for one. The rumor was confirmed by David for two, the baby has been on plans since season 4.

David saying it means jack squat. It’s writers and Showrunners that make the decisions. Not actors. What an actor hopes for has zero bearing on what will actually end up on screen. This fandom has turned into a bunch of high school gossips and it’s beyond annoying.

It wasn’t a case of the actor saying what he wants, he was sharing spoilers. Nothing is set in stone until it happens but presumably, he got it FROM the writers and showrunners.

Stephen usually dances around answering things like this and he didn’t this time. He said “no” and smiled. There’s no reason he wouldn’t say something if David really had let the cat out of the bag.
David didn’t confirm anything. That’s a rumor started after a media member asked the cast how a baby might impact the show. Nobody ever said she’s having a baby.

Don’t you think it might be more important to get Oliver out of prison than making babies? This is an action adventure show, not a soap!

I love that he made a face as he answered! and said “No.” and smiled before adding “Oliver has his hands full.”

Oliver’s in prison with a lot of people who’d love to kill him, he’s got to survive and somehow get out. Hopefully, Felicity was smart enough to use birth control so she doesn’t have to worry about having a baby while she’s alone with William in witness protection.

LOL this doesn’t mean that it won’t happen. Stephen said people got it wrong and that Oliver won’t be going to jail. Except he is. Everyone has somehow or another guessed most of the secrets from Arrow. He’s not a very good liar. David does tend to spoil a lot of stuff.
