Neil McDonough Cast as Damien Darhk

Neal McDonough has been cast as the character Damien Darhk as a series regular for season four of Arrow.

McDonough is known for roles in Band of Brothers, Justified, and Captain America: The First Avenger. He’s got roots in DC Comics, too — he voiced Deadshot in Batman: Assault on Arkham and Green Arrow himself in various DC Comics shorts.

The press release describes Darhk as “a mysterious and sophisticated villain, and an adversary of the late Ra’s Al Ghul. Now the leader of his own clandestine group, this cunning foe will prove to be one of the Arrow’s greatest challenges.” He was mentioned multiple times towards the end of last season.
