Is [Spoiler] Evil? Here’s What Stephen Amell Had To Say…

Spoilers for the Arrow pilot are within.

Way back in the summer, at the Television Critics Association press tour, we asked Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) his thoughts on whether or not his mother, Moira, played by Susanna Thompson, is evil. After all, she did some pretty harsh things in the pilot, including having her son kidnapped.

Obviously, we could not post the question or his response at the time because it would blow the end of episode reveal. But now that it has aired… what is the deal with Moira Queen?

“When you’re now the [head] of a billionaire family, you have things that you have to protect,” he tells us.

“I wouldn’t be so quick to assume that she is evil incarnate. I would be quick to assume that she’s hiding things, but we don’t know what those things are yet,” he teases.
