UPDATE: John Constantine Confirmed For Arrow Season 4

This afternoon is the CW portion of the Television Critics Association press tour, and writer Brian Ford Sullivan has already implied on Twitter that Arrow fans should be pretty happy…

We’re assuming that means a trailer is coming, but beyond that, something else big might be on the horizon.

It’s been hinted that magic will feature in to Arrow Season 4. When we pressed for more details at the CBS/CW/Showtime party last night, specifically on whether or not that would imply a certain trenchcoat-wearing cigarette smoker who had his own TV show last year might be on, we couldn’t get a more direct answer there. But then, we now have a new Tweet from Constantine Executive Producer Daniel Cerone:

UPDATE: This news is now confused! CW President Mark Pedowitz has confirmed that Matt Ryan will be guest starring as John Constantine on Arrow. There are no more details at this time…
