City of HeroesA certain highly anticipated season premiere airs tonight at 8PM (ET) on The CW, and in preparation for that, we interviewed several members of the Arrow cast up at the Vancouver studio that produces the show.

This morning’s video features two special guests — first, there’s Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Oliver Queen’s favorite help tech, Felicity Smoak. Emily is a series regular for Season 2 and Felicity gets a lot of cool things to do in tonight’s premiere. The second special guest is Emily’s dog Ophelia, who came by the set to say hi to all of us.

emilyopheliaBelow, see what’s in store for Felicity with going to “the worst place on Earth” to find Oliver, her new responsibilities, interacting with characters like Quentin, Oliver’s new not-so-vigilante direction, the Black Canary, love interests, the show’s Orphan Black guest star, and more.

And, yes, she still talked about “Olicity.”

“Yeah, I do,” she confirms about whether or not she sees something between Oliver and Felicity. “I mean, we go to the island to save him. And, yes, that’s ‘I’m here for you, we’re your friends, you’re not alone,’ but it just has to be so much more than that. Because there is chemistry between them. Whether or not they stay best friends ’til they’re in their 40’s, I don’t know. But there’s chemistry there, and you can’t just ignore it. There is potential. We’ve all been there. That’s what makes it so relatable and so much fun, and it creates so much turmoil, I think, for the audience, too, because we all have been there. Is the step really going to ruin it, or is it only going to make it better?” she asks.
