everwood_021Once upon a time, when there was a TV network called The WB, Greg Berlanti created a fantastic drama called Everwood, the story of a family that moves to a small Colorado town after the death of the childrens’ mother. The show lasted for four seasons, from 2002 to 2006. We wish it had been on longer.

In the years since, Berlanti has been involved with many successful shows, including one called Arrow that you may have heard of, and almost all of the cast has moved on to big things.

Gregory Smith, who played the young Ephram Brown, continued to be a successful actor, starring and even directing for the series Rookie Blue. Now, his directing talents will help out his former boss as he will be directing an episode of Arrow soon.

The cast of Everwood seems to enjoy their superhero projects. Chris Pratt starred in this summer’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Emily VanCamp was in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While hanging out with Rocket Raccoon and Steve Rogers is cool and all, neither of them can say they had directed for Arrow. Gregory Smith, however, will be able to.
