Blue Devil Shows Up On Arrow

DC Comics character Blue Devil showed up in last night’s episode of Arrow (“Time Of Death”), in the form of an advertisement on the side of a Starling City bus.

Created by Dan Mishkin and Gary Cohn in 1984, Blue Devil first appeared in a DC Comics insert in Fury of Firestorm #24 – the same series that introduced readers to a very different version of Felicity Smoak. He quickly graduated into his own title which lasted for 31 issues and has been part of the DC Universe ever since.
