The news that many have waited for since March has arrived… Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) will indeed be a part of the Arrow series finale which is shooting now to air in early 2020. The Arrow producers had been asked the Felicity question repeatedly ever since, and now, we know that Oliver Queen’s wife will indeed be present.
Stephen Amell revealed it himself this morning.
“There’ll be a lot of news coming out about our final episode over the next few months. I prefer when you hear it from us. Welcome back Emily,” he Tweeted.
“We couldn’t be happier or more thrilled,” Marc Guggenheim added. “No other way to do our finale.”
The series will take place after the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths, and if Oliver Queen does indeed die, could she be returning for his funeral? Or might we see their “happily ever after” teased at the end of Season 7? We shall see…
