Arrow/Flash Spinoff Trailer To Screen May 14 At Upfronts?

Almost all of the Arrow/Flash spinoff cast being seen shooting up in Vancouver was probably the hint we needed, and now Variety has taken that talk a step further.

In a pilot roundup article posted today, Variety states “sources say the CW will preview a first-look trailer at the DC superhero spinoff at their May 14 upfront presentation.”

The spinoff, which had signs pointing to it being called Legends of Tomorrow with nothing more said since then, is expected for The CW’s 2015-2016 schedule, most likely at midseason. It will star Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller, Ciara Renee, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell, Arthur Darvill, and Victor Garber, among others. We would not be shocked if the Arrow and the Flash are involved in the pilot presentation trailer. No villain has been announced for this spinoff yet, though we hear it might be Vandal Savage.

Warner Bros. TV and The CW have not yet confirmed the title for the spinoff, which makes us think they’re trying to save that reveal for Upfronts. We shall see if things will work out that way.
