Arrow Won’t Be New On April 8 Arrow Won’t Be New On April 8
On April 8, The CW will be airing a repeat of Nanda Parbat. Here's why. Arrow Won’t Be New On April 8

AR315B_0150bThis is probably the last time we’ll be typing this during Season 3, thankfully, but Arrow will have a repeat of “Nanda Parbat” on Wednesday, April 8.

The weeks before it and, we assume, the weeks after it will all be new.

Why is this happening?

That’s actually easy to answer.

Episode #3.18, “Public Enemy,” airs on April 1, which means there are only five episodes left to air in the season. With the season finale airing May 13, one week had to be skipped. Episodes 19-23 will all air back-to-back.

And then we have a whole summer of repeats!

Repeats are pre-emptions aren’t the most fun thing in the world for fans, but look at it this way: if 23 episodes a year aired back-to-back, we’d have over seven months to wait between seasons of Arrow. And does anyone want that?
