But the news gets even better! Since this article was posted this morning, the final overnight ratings have come out, and things have gone up even higher! Here’s the press release with updated details from The CW:

ARROW Draws Most Watched Episode Since February,

Matches Series Highs in Men 18-34 and Men 18-49
as Barry Allen Arrives in Starling City

December 5, 2013 (Burbank, CA) –  UPDATED: With Barry Allen making his first appearance in Starling City, The CW’s ARROW last night climbed to an all-time series high in adults 18-34 (1.2/4) and delivered its most watched episode (3.24 million) since February (2/13/13), according to national Live + Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013.

ARROW also matched its series highs in men 18-34 (1.4/6) and men 18-49 (1.5/5), while matching its season best in adults 18-49 (1.2/4).

Versus its last original episode two weeks ago, ARROW grew +22% in total viewers, +33% in adults 18-34, +20% in adults 18-49, +56% in men 18-34, and +36% in men 18-49.

ARROW ranked #1 in the 8:00-9:00p.m. hour in men 18-34, and ranking third (tied with Fox and ahead of ABC) in adults 18-34.

Last night was The CW’s best Wednesday of the season among adults 18-34 (0.9/3). For the night, The CW was up +14% in total viewers (2.49 million) versus two weeks ago, the most recent Wednesday with regularly scheduled programming. The network was up +29% in adults 18-34 (0.9/3), +13% in adults 18-49 (0.9/3), +57% in men 18-34 (1.1/4), and +38% in men 18-49 (1.1/3).  It was The CW’s best Wednesday night among men 18-34 and men 18-49 since 2/13/13.

This season, ARROW sees a +45% increase in Live + 7 Day viewing versus Live + Same Day viewing among total viewers, averaging 4.1 million viewers per episode in L+7. ARROW also sees a +47% gain in adults 18-34, and a +54% increase in adults 18-49 in L+7 versus L+SD. THE TOMORROW PEOPLE sees a +41% increase in total viewers, a +55% increase in adults 18-34, and a +54% jump in adults 18-49 compared to same day viewing.
