Ratings report for the Arrow season premiere "City of Heroes" Arrow Ratings: How Did The Season 2 Premiere Do?

City of HeroesThe initial overnight ratings for the Arrow season premiere are coming in, and they’re lower than we expected, at least, considering the amount of positive hype for “City Of Heroes.”

It looks like the Arrow premiere ended up with 2.68 million viewers (source: TVByTheNumbers) and a 0.9/3 in the key demographics. This is good for The CW, though: For comparison’s sake, Supernatural’s season premiere last night had 2.5 million and 1.2/3 in the demo.

It’s possible that the final numbers will grow with DVR samplings and online viewings, which could help for later. On that note, if you know someone who missed it, tell them to find a way to watch, because we’re pretty sure “City of Heroes” would hook them.

“Amell Wednesdays” overall seemed to get a positive sampling from The CW; The Tomorrow People, starring Stephen’s cousin Robbie, only dropped a little bit after Arrow with 2.34 million and an 0.8/3 in the demo.

If you missed “City Of Heroes” last night, you can already get it on iTunes or Amazon Instant Video.
