Arrow Casts Kirk Acevedo As “Richard Dragon”

“Richard Dragon” has been found for Arrow Season 6.

The classic DC Comics character will be using the more realistic name “Ricardo Diaz” in the upcoming sixth season of the series which premieres Thursday, October 12 on The CW, and playing him will be actor Kirk Acevedo.

Here’s how the Arrow version of the character is described:

A hardened ex-con recently released from prison for crimes he didn’t commit, Ricardo Diaz (Acevedo) is bent on taking over Star City’s criminal underworld. A master in hand to hand combat, honed by years of life on the street, Diaz has yet to meet a foe he can’t take down.

Acevedo’s other credits include Fringe, 12 Monkeys, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Kingdom.
