wca_logo_1The schedule for this year’s WonderCon convention in Anaheim, California is now up, and while there is no Arrow panel this year, there are two panels in particular that should appeal to Arrow fans.

On Saturday, April 19, at 1PM in Room 207, Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim will be talking about his new novel, Overwatch.

Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters) shares his first novel, Overwatch, which blends the espionage and legal thriller genres while delving into the inner workings of the CIA. Join Marc for this Q&A session moderated by Sandra Gonzalez (Entertainment Weekly), as they discuss what inspired Marc to write his first novel and his work in television, film, and comic books.

At 4:30PM in Room 300DE, Arrow Executive Producers Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg will be on a “Fan Favorite Showrunners” panel hosted by TV Guide Magazine.

Moderated by TV Guide Los Angeles bureau chief Michael Schneider, the session brings together TV’s top producers for a look behind the scenes of your favorite shows. The panel will also include a preview of the documentary Showrunners (directed by Des Doyle), which spotlights the creative forces responsible for overseeing every element of production on television’s most popular dramas and comedies. Panelists (subject to change) include Chris Carter (The X-Files), David Eick (Falling Skies), Marc Guggenheim (Arrow), Andrew Kreisberg (Arrow), and Steven Molaro (The Big Bang Theory), as well as producers featured in the documentary Jane Espenson (Once Upon a Time) and Hart Hanson (Bones).

The headline to this story is possibly misleading – there are several DC Comics-related panels throughout the convention, which you can read about here. But, if you want to see and meet the people behind Arrow, these two panels are your best bet.
