Felicity Smoak Will Get A Codename

Arrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim recently answered fan questions on his Tumblr page, and one particular question & answer stood out to us: He apparently revealed that Felicity will finally be getting a code name.

Here’s an exchange asking about the subject:

smoakingarrows asked: Could you give us a clue about Felicity’s codename? Have you chosen it yet? In what episode does it appear for the 1st time? At least one letter in it? (Everyone on Team Arrow has an awesome codename, when can I expect my genius to get some identity-concealling-love?) Please Uncle Guggie! Love from Panama!

MG: No. Yes. 411. A. In that order.

So, Episode 411 “A.W.O.L.” is when Felicity gets a code name, eh? That means she survives the midseason finale, and therefore might not be the person in the grave… but with signs pointing toward possible injury in that episode, could the code name be “Oracle?”

We shall see… after all, it does have an “A” in it, and “Oracle” was the original planned title for “The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak.”
