It was a great episode and with the renewed confidence created by episode 5X19 and 5X20, I hope the numbers keep climbing.

The benefits of the episode not being Olicity/Felicity centric.

Two heavily promoted episodes where the audience was informed Olicity and Felicity (for each of the respective episodes) were going to be heavily featured caused dips in the ratings. And the first episode afterwards, that was marketed as a regular/non ship-centric episode, had a rise in ratings.

Oh, and before people complain about this comment. The demo also went up, not just the ratings. So the demo hasn’t stayed the same with the previous two episodes, they both dipped below the season average and the return on a non ship-centric episode caused a rise/return to status quo.

The Felicity/Olicity episodes adjusted to .47, (which is below 5 and also a drop for the season)
This episode has a .60 demo (which is a fairly large rise and better matches the start of the season)
