Arrow Executive Producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg sit down and talk Arrow in a new video released by The CW.
In the video, they offer more hints about characters from the DC Universe (including Deathstroke!)… also, this video is listed as “Part 1″ so hopefully that means more is coming.

So they didn’t watch the last season of Smallville then?
that’s exactly what i thought when they said deathstroke hadn’t been portrayed in live action before.i think they actually meant in costume but never mind
I would imagine they didn’t really watch Smallville, but they are aware that a version of Deathstroke appeared on the show. They mentioned it in another interview. I think they’re saying he’s never been adequately or faithfully adapted into live action, as he definitely wasn’t on Smallville.
Much like Deadshot, if you weren’t directly told he was supposed to be Deathstroke, you really wouldn’t know.
Well they’ll have to do better at least Smallville made Slade Wilson a definite threat!
