Summary:

On the island, Oliver and Sara return to the cave thinking Slade will be there, but all they find are firing calculations for Fyers’ launcher. Slade is planning to blow up the freighter. Oliver and Sara get to Slade just in time to talk him down by mentioning that Shado would’ve wanted him to return home. Then Oliver suggests taking over the freighter.

Arrow attempts to teach Roy control, but both become frustrated at the slow progress. Felicity discovers that Ben Turner escaped prison and stole designs for Malcolm’s house. Arrow takes Roy along, but they fail to stop Turner from stealing a prototype of the earthquake machine. Laurel arrives at Joanna’s new law firm ready for an interview, but Joanna informs her that the Bar Association will be moving to revoke her license. Oliver gets a call from Thea that Laurel is drunk in Verdant. He rushes upstairs, sends Laurel home in a cab, and makes a call to inform someone that Laurel is in trouble. Laurel collapses in her apartment to see Sara hovering over her.

Moira joins Walter and a CFO Mark Francis for dinner where they ask her to run against Blood. After thorough convincing by Walter and Thea, Moira decides to pursue the mayor’s office. In the mean time, Moira and Walter must make sure that her O.B., the only other person who knows about Thea’s true father, won’t be a problem.

Felicity links Turner to Milo Armitage, an arms merchant with a slip at the docks. Arrow and Roy interrupt the deal, but the device has already been activated. To get Roy to channel his strength and anger while thinking about his love for Thea, Oliver reveals his identity. They stop the device. Amanda Waller visits Turner in jail to recruit him for her in-progress squad. Oliver shows Roy the Arrowcave and introduces him to the team.

Quotes:

Roy: You know I slapped water in a bowl yesterday. And I slapped water in a bowl the day before.
Arrow: You must be getting pretty good at it.
Roy: Yeah, well, I can’t wait to get attacked by a dog dish.

Oliver: You hacked into a prison system network?
Felicity: Is that judgment I’m hearing?
Oliver: Pride.
Felicity: Iron Heights just put out a BOLO for Ben Turner, AKA Bronze Tiger, which BTW is a terrible nickname. Tigers are not bronze.

Walter: We need a game change candidate, Moira, and there’s no one in Starling with a higher profile than you.
Moira: Charles Manson is rather well known, and no one is going to vote for him.
Walter: True. Equally true, voters like redemption stories: Bill Clinton, Eliot Spitzer, Martha Stewart.
Moira: I don’t believe she ran for office.
Walter: But if she had, she would have won

Oliver: Do you have one of your hoodies?
Roy: Do you have to ask?

Felicity: You both scoff when I say we should invest in an X-ray machine for down here.

Laurel: Can I get something with olives? I don’t care what it is as long as there are a lot of olives.
Oliver: How about coffee?
Laurel: Coffee and olives. Bad combination.

Felicity: When I found out who you really were, I “processed” my way through a pint of mint chip.

Roy: Does this group have a name, like “Team Arrow”?
Oliver: We don’t call ourselves that.
Felicity: I do, occasionally.
Oliver: Stop.
