One of the featured stars of Arrow – Stephen Amell’s chest – will not be seen in Season 2, GreenArrowTV has learned exclusively.
The story we’re hearing — which has not been confirmed by the network or the studio — is that in a contract renegotiation for Season 2, Stephen Amell‘s contract has been changed with a stipulation that he no longer has to be shirtless in future episodes. The desire to return to Tim Horton’s is cited as one possible reason. In scenes where we must see Oliver Queen’s chest, a body/chest double will be used.
To pick up the shirtless slack, Colton Haynes, Colin Donnell, David Ramsey, Paul Blackthorne, Manu Bennett, and John Barrowman have all pledged to go shirtless on alternating weeks of Season 2.
