The CW this afternoon released a new extended promo – over 3 and a half minutes long! – for their upcoming series Arrow, which stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow. If you’re reading this website, you’ve probably heard of it.
Here’s the new promo. Keep an eye out for what looks to be a flash of a mask of a major DC Comics character (here’s a hint: Deathstroke!)
I’m not sure what to think of the show yet. I wanted to like Supernatural. It seemed like such a good idea, but couldn’t get into it as much as Smallville.
Arrow seems to be similar to Supernatural in production. I guess we will see. Can’t wait to see what they do with it when the season opens.
Man, I hope they can keep this level of hype going until launch b/c right now I’m so amped to finally see my favorite comic character to come to life in a series of his own!
I don’t know what “hype” you’re talking about. This is the first I’ve even heard about Arrow, and I found it on accident. The show has little to no name recognition and seems a little like a pathetic attempt to keep the “live-action superhero tv shows” on the air after Smallville ended. They tried similar stunts with Aquaman and Wonder Woman. I don’t have very high hopes for the series, but I hope I’m proven wrong.
they should make it as a spin off from Smallville and have Justin Hartly in it
