Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity) was recently interviewed by the Daily Hive and she was asked about her recent comments about not wanting an “Olicity baby” (a child for Oliver and Felicity) in Arrow Season 7.

“I did say that, and I regretted saying that right afterwards because I got some hate,” Emily said, clarifying her statement. “I said that just because I didn’t want her to revolve around just being in this relationship. That’s why.”

Before addressing the baby thing, Emily talked about how social media can be “super, super weird.”

“I’m so grateful for the fandom, and everyone’s usually very, very nice, and I’m not afraid of opinions. Have your own opinion about TV, movies, art in any way, you know, whatever you want, but seeing pictures of my body edited to pregnant, that’s where the line is drawn for me. I can’t do that anymore. So I don’t scroll too deep,” she said.

You can watch the interview below, where Emily talks about a lot of cool other things, including what it was like to go from a one-day role to being a major part of the Arrow series.
