Could Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum Show Up On Arrow?

A few weeks ago, Arrow’s Stephen Amell was a guest on Michael Rosenbaum’s excellent interview podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, where they spoke of their respective roles in DC TV history (Stephen with Arrow, Michael with Smallville) as well as some personal things we may not have known.

The 91-minute podcast even features a shoutout to the author of this article!

A few days after this podcast dropped, we had the opportunity to interview Amell about the upcoming seventh season of Arrow, premiering October 15 on The CW… but we also couldn’t help but to ask if he’s now tried to get Rosenbaum onto Arrow at some point.

“I have not tried, but I would have him on in a heartbeat. It would be fantastic,” Stephen said. “[But] one of the things we talked about during the podcast, is that he did his Lex Luthor thing, and he felt like after 7 years he had done enough, so if he wanted to let a sleeping dog lie and said ‘I’ve been there, I’ve done that, I’m ready to do other things’ I would obviously respect that.”
