Arrow SPOILER: John Barrowman’s “Well Dressed Man” Identity Revealed!

Craig Byrne November 28, 2012 3

The seventh episode of Arrow, titled “Muse Of Fire,” just finished on the East Coast, and in it, we finally learned who John Barrowman’s “Well Dressed Man” actually is.

Who is the well dressed man?

Well, SPOILER WARNING if you haven’t seen the episode yet. This means you, West Coast people.

In “Muse Of Fire,” we learned that the Well Dressed Man is actually the father of Tommy Merlyn. Hmm, Merlyn is a “Dark Archer” in the comics… and there are these photos from Episode 9… could he be? Guess we have to just wait and see. For the record, though, we called it.

What do you think?

Well done calling it. I was pleasantly surprised, and really hope they changed the credits from “Well dressed man” to Merlyn/Dark Archer soon.

How awesome would it be for Tommy and this guy to have a Green-Goblinesque relationship where the father is a nemesis, gets killed by the hero and the son takes over the mantle? Can’t wait for the mid season finale, where I hope they make this reveal. That would be soooooooo sweet!

I can see a reason why Tommy can become a villain now. His father is being harsh on him and is basically cutting him off from his money so Tommy must find out about ‘the list’ at some point and is killing the people from the list to get at his father. I’m probably way off the scale because first of all…when did Tommy learn archery and martial arts and at such a fast rate to most likely match arrow, infarct I don’t even know that its Tommy as the dark archer in episode 9, I’m just guessing but there’s my speculation as to why Tommy will become a villain. What do you guys think?
